Baltikum

The Baltic Sea is a legend. From the birthplace of my german side-kin, to Josif Alexandrovič Brodskij's line: its “aluminum waves, where the eyes meet no borders and the ears meet no echoes”. It is my final desire to reach those sandy shores, to abandon this life with my eyes on the shallow waves. “If there is any substitute for love, it is memory” (JAB)
