Out there

A meditation on the evoking expression, as in a story by Raymond Carver. The building on the left: apartments, people inside. Like accidentally peeking into other people’s lives, as if from a night train passing through. The building on the right: a shop closed down, empty business spaces with their lights off. At the center: a stormy night sky, gusts of wind shaking the trees. Nobody should be OUT THERE at night.
