Plate of Heroes, II

Here they are, altogether. Rust iron plates as a paraphrase of the Philosophical Conversation by Giò Ponti. I don’t like some of them, for sure. For instance, I don’t like the bulky Radola Gajda, who was a traitor of any side, I don’t like Denikin and his known associates Alehseev and Judenić: they wasted time in pogroms while they might have better fought – and maybe won - against Reds. Conversely, I am really in love with some others: ‘Vrangel (Mitterand loves him too), the fabulous and braggart Bermondt-Avalov. Von der Goltz: the fate of va Warrior; De Haller, who was executed in Katyn. A flower, a teardrop, my homage to them.
